The sculpture is based on the logo of a famous contemporary electronics company. I shaped the gap to look like a mouth biting a fly-shaped bard sitting and playing the piano. The “Apple” logo can be seen as a symbol with a similar significance to the biblical “apple,” representing an era. It feels like all media information is based on this symbol. The “fly” is an important visual element in my work, symbolizing the relationship between voyeurism, truth, and decay. The bard always sings about the world’s suffering with an indifferent attitude, and the “bite” in this piece reflects the consumption of humanity by the flow of data in the digital age.
